I wrote this song a few years ago, while staying at a friends place in Manchester, UK. The black birds were enchanting me, new love was stirring my soul and I was inspired by a new tuning I’d been shown, which kind of reminded me of a Joni Mitchell song, “I Think I Understand” from the album, Clouds. I will upload a properly recorded version soon, but this one here is just a special moment recorded on my phone, down on one of my favourite beaches, Little Wategoes at sunrise recently.
